Kingsgate's mission is to bring lasting transformation to organisations as well as the individuals that lead them.
OUR FOUNDER
WILLIAM MOORE
Kingsgate was born with the sole purpose of helping organisations to create enduring value, even in volatile seasons. We wrote that statement in 2017, prior to recession, Covid-19, war in Europe and the Middle East, inflation and supply chain shortages. We did not know what was just around the corner but we believed that we were uniquely positioned to help organisations generate lasting value in challenging times.

We incorporated Kingsgate in March 2020 and since have gone from strength to strength, steadily building our client portfolio across multiple sectors from small private companies to multinational PLCs. We are a growing team and are ambitious in our pursuit to serve our clients' needs and solve the problems they are facing.

We’re a start-up and we have a radically different culture to our competitors. Our core values inform and shape all that we do both within our client-facing interactions and inside our team. OUR TEAM
William Moore
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Before founding Kingsgate at the start of 2020, Will spent seven years at CIL, working with clients across a wide range of sectors. During this time, he worked primarily as a management consultant working on and managing multiple commercial due diligence deals for private equity firms. Will holds a diploma in management accountancy from CIMA.
Graeme Leach
HEAD OF RESEARCH AND POLICY
Graeme is a former Chief Economist, Director of Policy and was a main board director at the Institute of Directors (IoD), from 1997 to 2014. In addition to working at Kingsgate, Graeme is a visiting professor of economic policy and a senior fellow of the Legatum Institute. Graeme is also a member of the IEA Shadow Monetary Policy Committee and has a weekly column in the City AM newspaper.
Christiaan Van Schalkwyk
DIRECTOR
Christiaan is a highly qualified ICAEW Business and Finance Professional (BFP) and Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), having achieved his Chartered Accountant status in 2018 following the successful completion of his SAICA traineeship with Moore Stephens. Christiaan has a proven track record in building and developing high-performing finance teams, implementing robust internal controls, and managing software integrations and team mergers, ensuring seamless financial operations and governance.
Rob Montagu
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Rob graduated from the University of Bath with a first-class honours degree in Mathematics in 2020. With a focus on applied Mathematics and Mathematical modelling, he has gained wide exposure to various forms of problem solving. Prior to working at Kingsgate, Rob had an industrial placement with the UK MoD as an operational analyst working to optimise field operations for the British Army.
Alex Moore
CREATIVE STRATEGIST
Alex graduated from the University of Bournemouth with a first-class honours degree in Computer Animation with Art and Design. Prior to this, he worked as a graphic designer for an educational app company in Bath. Beginning his career as a professional fine artist has equipped him with a unique perspective when it comes to creative strategy and direction; one of the factors that has helped to contribute to Kingsgate's unique expression within the marketplace.
Nana Koranteng
ASSOCIATE
Nana is a second-year Business Management student at the University of Bath, currently undertaking an industrial placement with Kingsgate. Throughout the course of her academic journey, Nana has shown particular interest towards corporate finance and strategy. Before commencing her current placement, Nana completed summer insight days with Bloomberg and Citibank, gaining valuable experience in their advisory divisions.
